End of the Year Book Tag

I wasn’t tagged for this, but I came across the original video on twitter and I decided I wanted to do it. This tag was created by Ariel Bisset. Click on her name to go to her video.

To the Questions:

  • Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
Every book I’m currently reading! I don’t have books I started at the beginning of the year that I still haven’t finished and want to finish before the end of the year.
  • Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
Not at all. I always just read what I feel like. For me there’s no set book I want/need to read to get ready for the end of the year.
  • Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
Yes! All Closed Off by Cora Carmack. The fourth book in the Rusk University series. I really like this series and I’ve been waiting for this book for awhile. The release date for this book has been pushed back a few times. As far as I know it will come out on November 24th. And hopefully it will be really here on that date.
  • What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
    1. A Conjoring of Light by V.E. Schwab (I’m currently reading this)
    2. Uprooted by Naomi Novik
    3. The Sun is Also A Star by Nicola Yoon
  • Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?
Anyone of the books above could do that. But I don’t think they will. The Hate U Give will probably be my favorite book of the year! There is no way another book can top that one.
  • Have you already started making reading plans for 2018?
YES I HAVE! We made a reading challenge with a groupchat I’m in. And we did that back in September. This started after we were complaining about how hard Around the Year in 52 books was going to be in 2018. So we made our own reading challenge with 40 prompts. And I’ve already been thinking about what books I would like to read for what prompt. It’s been fun to plan it out. And I’m very excited for the challenge. Someone in the group made these pretty papers with the prompts on them to cut out and put in a jar. So I’m kinda doing a TBR jar with the challenges.

This was a fun tag to do. And for once I know a lot of you haven’t done this one yet, so I have quite a list of people I tag:

And anyone else who wants to do it.

Thanks. That is the only book I moved to 2018. I wanted to read it for my Around the Year challenge, but I read another book that worked for the prompt😉
